Can you tell we are brothers?

So, can you tell we are brothers?  Mommy and Daddy say they are amazed at how similar my brother, Davin, and I look.  Yet, there are some very distinct differences.  Despite the differences, we are both really cute and both really love the swing!  Here are the 5 month pics for comparison:

An artist?

Posted by mom....

Well, it has happened.  That moment when your little, cute, sweet toddler decides to use his creativity to color a masterpiece.  Most days when Caden wants to color he sits quietly in his highchair, confined to the small space so the crayons stay on the paper, and he colors away.  This time, since he asked "please" so nicely and innocently, I allowed him to sit at his toddler table with his paper and crayons.  Not 2 minutes later as I was attending to Davin's dirty diaper, I returned to find his masterpiece colored all over my kitchen wall.  I had to laugh, especially since all that was coming out of his mouth was "Uh oh".  It's as though he knew after he stepped back to admire his artwork that Mommy was not going to appreciate that so much.  I'll have to admit, I actually thought it was pretty cute.....the innocent expression that just said "The wall looked like a huge blank piece of paper!"

After a short conversation on why the wall is not a piece of paper and crayons only belong on paper, I sent him skipping off to bring his container of baby wipes (he love being able to do "errands" for mommy -- I wonder how long that will last?!) .  Crayola really knows what they are doing by making washable crayons.  A few baby wipes and the masterpiece was no longer visible on the wall.  (Baby wipes for kids are like the equivalent of ducktape for adults -- it fixes everything! )

So, here are a few pictures of Caden's "Uh oh" before we cleaned the wall (sorry they are kind of hard to see)....

Choo Choo! Caden is TWO!

I had a really great time celebrating my 2nd birthday.  We had a train party since I LOVE TRAINS!  We had a train cake, played pin the smoke stack on the train, hot train (like hot potato), and Mommy even made railroad tracks on the ground with Daddy's electrical tape!  It was so much fun!  All of my friends came over to play games, eat and have cake.  Daddy and Mommy rented a "bounce house" for all of us to jump in.  I spent hours bouncing away outside.  The best part of all was that I got to skip my nap that day!!!!  Here are a few pictures of the big event:
